Alaya Resort Ubud Celebrates its “NOW 5” Anniversary

Alaya Resort Ubud proudly celebrated its 5th Anniversary on 16th January 2018 at Manisan Restaurant with an appreciation event for its management team, all staff members and supporting partners. This special gathering not only marked 5 years of dedicated service, it also coincided with the resort achieving its 5 Stars Classification.

In the weeks leading up to the “NOW 5” anniversary, the organizing committee conducted a number of activities in line with Alaya’s corporate social responsibility program. Staff members eagerly participated in a clean-up campaign and a blood drive with the local branch of the Red Cross. Teams also distributed donations to the Mount Agung evacuees residing in temporary shelters in Manggis, Karangasem and Yayasan Bumi Sehat in Nyuh Kuning, Ubud.

The “NOW 5” celebration represented a journey of hard work and determination culminated with Alaya Resort Ubud officially achieving 5 Star Resort Status on its 5th Anniversary. This recognition also went hand-in-hand with prestigious certification by PT. Qis Certi following a recent audit.

During this milestone event, Bapak Jimmy Gunawan, CEO of Alaya Hotels & Resorts, briefly addressed staff members and expressed his gratitude by saying, “We are so proud to have all of you as part of our work family. This 5 Stars Resort acknowledgement reinforces that we are on the path to success. I hope that it drives us all to stay focused and keep up the good work for many more years to come.”

The resort also features landscape art by Made Wijaya and signature pieces by acclaimed Indonesian sculptor, Pintor Sirait, along with a bespoke décor at DaLa Spa by Moroccan-born interior decorator Zohra Boukhari.
